Calibration comparisons are made with platinum resistance thermometers in a stirred silicon oil bath between –20C and 140C. We can calibrate total and partial immersion LIG thermometers. Our precision temperature measurement range is –196C to 1372C. Sensor calibrations are made utilizing the ITS-90 reference and deviation functions. We can provide sensor calibrations with Steinhart-Hart, Callendar-VanDusen, other polynomial coefficients, or temperature to resistance charts. |
|
A laboratory drywell calibrator can be utilized for validation of electronic thermometers in the field.
We also perform and validate low uncertainty multi channel temperature data logging in the field, including ultra-low thermal mass measurements, heat distribution and penetration studies. |

Below, a temperature measurement assurance program compares our reference platinum resistance thermometer with a working industrial platinum thermometer. |

Accurate resistance measurements are the foundation of making accurate temperature measurements. Martin Instrument Laboratories validates resistance measurement capabilities with our Resistance Measurement Assurance Program. |
