Mass and Force Metrology
The manufactures of high quality precision balances do not specify the uncertainty of their balances due to the large effect the measurement environment may have on them.
We recommend customers seeking the greatest knowledge of their balance’s performance, check and calibrate their own balances at random times during the work day, and record the “as found” data. With this data, we can help you determine the true performance of your balance and assign calibration specifications based on the confidence level you desire. We are, as always, happy to help validate your measurements!
· We provide onsite cleaning, repair, and calibration services for your balance.
· We have found that most poor performance issues are corrected by cleaning and calibration.
· Martin Instrument Laboratories also makes force and torque measurements.
Martin Instrument Laboratories also maintains limited dimensional calibration services.
